I have already been showered with so much love as a mum-to-be and feel extraordinarily lucky to have so many friends and colleagues who have shared in my joy of becoming a mum. One thing I am conscious of is making sure I am always thankful and showing my thanks in a unique and meaningful way.

Happy Friday!
One of my goals for this year and next is to learn how to sew my own clothes. I have this dream of having a closet full of clothes I completely made myself. This may be a dream too big for reality but I can hope! I've seen some beginner patterns and tutorials on Pinterest but even they seemed out of my reach. Until I saw the pillow case dress (for kids!) but I thought I could easily adapt it to an adult top. After a few days of thinking how to make one I thought I had enough of an idea to give it a try. I went out, got some gorgeous fabric and gave it a go and I turned out with this... Happy Friday! Today I am so excited to welcome Claire from Claireabellemakes who is bringing you a gorgeous DIY...
Hi guys! I’m really excited to be here today to share a jewellery DIY. I came across Amy’s blog when she followed mine and we instantly connected over our love for crafts and agreed to share posts on each other’s blogs. So here we go with my marbled clay jewellery DIY! I love making these flowers and I am trying to find new ways to use them, last week was a card design. But I've recently got back into trying new things with my hair; making a new hair clip was the obvious next step. If you haven't guessed already, I love crafting using string. It is so simple, yet can make something lovely. My friend Siobhan has just got back from Glastonbury and I got to thinking about festival style. I love how every summer festival fashion comes back around and it's okay to wear flowers in your hair and dungarees. This is such a cheap and easy craft and looks beautiful, especially when hanging in a garland. Will and I have some up in our little flat, you can see a post with them here. This week is turning out to be quite hectic! Will's daily blogs are going really well, but there seems to be a lot less time in the day. You can read Will's blog here. One of my favourite things to do is browse fabric stores; lingering over the lace and ribbons. I have an unhealthy obsession with lace. I personally believe the world would be a lot better place with a lot more lace in it. Today's craft is a beautiful folded heart garland. I first saw these in a shop, took a sneaky picture; folded and stapled till I worked out how they were made. There were a few failed attempts! This is often the way I work, I like seeing something then trying to find out a way to make it my own. To make your own you will need
