I am going to be giving this card as an Easter card, but I would mostly count this as a spring card. I am loving all the flowers that are out at the moment, I really wanted a design that was 'simply floral!'

You will need

  • Green string
  • White wool
  • Yellow pens
  • Scrap card
  • Double sided sticky tape
  • Hot glue gun
  • Blank card
  • Scissors

Firstly cut two differing lengths of green string and attach them to your card using your hot glue gun.

Then cut a small circle out of your double sided sticky tape and fix it to your card at the top of your flower stem.

Peel off the white stuff from the circles. Cut small strips of wool about 4cm long. Fold in half and attach the ends to the circle.

You may need to use your hot glue gun if you run out of space on the circle.

Next, take a scrap price of card and attach double sided sticky tape to both sides. Cut into a circle and peel off one side. Stick the end of the wool to the middle of the circle and wind around, filling the circle. Use a dab of hot glue gun on the side to secure the end and cut off the remaining wool.

Colour the circle of wool in with your yellow pens. I used two different shades to add a more realistic colour.

Peel off the double sided sticky tape from the other side and stick in the middle of your flower, hiding the mess underneath.. You may need to use your hot glue gun if they don't stick down firmly enough.

I love that the design comes off the card and looks clean and simple. Simply floral.

And there is your spring card!

Hope you have found this useful as always if you have any questions you can message me through the 'Contact Me' page.

Happy crafting
